(1940-2022) Edson Arantes do Nascimento, better known as Pelé, is considered one of the greatest soccer players of all time and an undisputed legend in the world of soccer. He began to stand out at an early age for his exceptional skill with the ball. He won his first World Cup title with the Brazilian national team in 1958, at the age of 17, becoming the youngest player to win a World Cup. Throughout his career, Pelé scored more than 1,000 goals and won numerous titles and awards, including three World Cups with Brazil in 1958, 1962 and 1970. His unique style of play, technical prowess and ability to score spectacular goals made him an iconic figure and a global ambassador for soccer.
